Chapter OneHeavy sheets of rain fell down on the pavement. Jack turned the corner and continued walking down the street. He paused by the mailbox to catch his breath. A car sped by by, splashing up water and drenching Jack. "ASSHOLE!" the car continued on, ignoring his ranting. "Might as well keep going," He thought "my parents are gonna kill me if I'm late." Jack broke into a jog, and soon was sprinting up the street, dodging around obstacles. He reached the front door and reached into his pocket to grab his keys, emptiness. "Shit."
